Sauk Rail Trail Ride in Iowa. For those of us that have done this ride before, this is one of our favorites for a day trip! - Saturday May 30th - weather permitting.
Starting at Swan Lake just South of Carroll, IA and ride to Lake View, IA and back. This is a well maintained paved trail. 50 to 60 miles round trip depending upon if you go around the lake at each end. Small towns and rest areas along the way. Mileage to Swan Lake Park from Papillion 114 miles or about 2 hours of drive time. Our plan would be to leave Omaha area to arrive at Swan Lake State Park by 8:45 to be ready to ride at 9AM. Stop for lunch in Lake View and ride back. Please let me know if you are interested and I will start a Text group for those interested for car pooling, reverse the route if windy, etc. Please send me a text-- Kim @ 402-659-1145
